CLIFF BENNETT AND THE REBEL ROUSERS Into Our Lives [The Joe Meek & EMI Years 1961-1969] (2009 UK 4-CD album set - Cliff Bennett & The Rebel Rousers formed in early 1961 in Hayes, Middlesex, borrowing their name from Duane Edward's hit 'Rebel Rouser'. Honing their skills playing popular Rock'n'Roll covers, their local popularity drew the attention of legendary producer Joe Meek whose influence got them a contract with Parlophone. 'Into Our Lives....', comprehensively collects togetherall Cliff Bennett & The Rebel Rousers' UK hits, all the album and E.P. tracks, the B-sides, and a massive 18 previously unreleased performances - in all 117 tracks and over 4 ½ hours of music. Also included are 3 Cliff Bennett solo tracks [all of which are previously unreleased]. Complete with a picture booklet containing liner notes written by celebrated journalist Dave Lang for which Cliff himself has agreed to be interviewed.)
