The labels are black with silver text. The Parlophone text and logo are in striking yellow. There are only minimal signs of spindlemarks around the centre hole indicating very little play. There are no imperfections on the labels, no writing, stickers or tears.

The vinyl is in beautiful condition. It has obviously been well cared for over the last 40+ years as there are only the odd cosmetic blemish on close inspection to be found, something of a miracle considering that Beatles albums were often taken to parties and played to death in the 1960s.

The Garrod and Lofthouse front laminated sleeve is in great condition. The laminate is clean, crisp, & free from any major creasing or significant surface marks, free of any writing or splitting. The corners, edges and spine are sharp, with minimal wear or edge scuffing, mainly just lightly to the opening edge, & the spine is clearly readable.
The rear of the sleeve, not protected by laminate is often stained, written on, discoloured or generally tatty. This copy is pretty stunning and a real highlight on this copy, remaining nearly as good as the day it was made with the main panel remaining clean and bright and flipbacks undamaged, perfectly preserved, only the odd faint spot of dicolouration stops it being perfect.
