The mirror is a portrait design measuring approximately 20" x 26" including the frame. It is screen printed in just two colours, yellow and blue, providing a simple yet effective design. The focal point of the mirror is the centrepiece where the entire list of performers are arranged in 2 columns on a yellow background with blue '10' signifying the tenth anniversary of the Prince's Trust. The text at the top reads 'The Prince's Trust', while the area below the performers names provides the venue and date details (Wembley Arena, June 20th 1986)

The bottom text reads 'In The Gracious Presence of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince And Princess Of Wales'

Mel Bush was a legendary concert promoter in the 1970's and 80's. He promoted such infamous concerts as Bowie's Aladdin Sane tour (where Ziggy 'retired'), Queens early tours and Led Zeppelin at Earls Court.
With each of the acts he promoted, once a successful tour or concert was over, Mel Bush would commission a commemorative plaque or mirror as a souvenir of the event. Usually these would be presented to the artist, with an additional one kept in his own personal archive.

This item has remained in the archive for 22 years but now that Mel is semi-retired, he has decided to part with his treasured archive of mirrors and plaques and we have been enlisted to help him find good homes for his collection. Each item from the archive will be accompanied by a signed letter from Mel detailing its origins and confirming its authenticity.
