VELVET UNDERGROUND / VARIOUS The East Village Other Electric Newspaper (Deleted 2000 German 10-track CD album - originally released on the avant garde ESP label in 1966, this album was put together by various people in the New York art scene, associated with the underground newspaper, The East Village Other, and was recorded in August to commemorate Hiroshima Day. Amongst contributions from Allen Ginsberg, Tuli Kupferberg and Warhol associates Gerard Malanga and Ingrid Superstar and snippets from radio broadcasts, is a Velvet Underground track [officially unavailable elsewhere] called 'Noise', representing their first official appearance on an LP; presented in sealed jewel case with paper obi strip-style wraparound)
