The glossy gatefold picture sleeve is in beautiful condition. Just the lightest spot of 'foxing' is noticeable on the inside lyric pages, but otherwise the spine is immaculate with barely any edge wear, the colours are unfaded inside and out, and the 8-page photo/lyric booklet is secured with the original metal staples.

The red & yellow 'Best' Vol. 2 obi-strip has just the tiniest nail tear in the top corner, but is a very rare find in itself, often discarded or torn in half, and usually missing the catalogue bag and postcard. This remarkable copy is COMPLETE with the original Everclean company inner, and the impossible-to-find competition postcard. The prize for the first 2000 entries was a free ticket to see The Beatles perform live at Budokan in Japan in 1966. Naturally, the vast majority of these postcards were mailed in for the chance to win a ticket, so very few survive today. The double-sided postcard even has an original 5 Yen stamp attached.

The labels show just a few spindle marks both sides, but otherwise there are no surface marks of any kind on the vinyl, which still shines with its original lustre and looks to be a glorious near mint. A beauty!
