THE BEATLES Meet The Beatles (1964 Japanese first Odeon issue 14-track RED 'Everclean' vinyl LP. Issued in Mono only & known as the 'Japanese Version', this issue has a different tracklisting to the US release. The silk laminated, scalloped flipback picture sleeve also has different coloured front cover titles in red & orange & Japanese sleeve notes on the back. The sleeve on this copy shows just a little light shelfwear, with a tiny bit of corner scuffing, but is otherwise in great condition & retains the original envelope advert inner & Japanese/lyric insert. The labels both have a lot of pindle marks and the vinyl, although obviously played, shows just a couple of light surface marks after forty five years in the wild. The rare obi-strip for this release is one of the most expensive bits of paper on the planet, so you will be relieved to know that it is no longer with this copy, therefore you do get some change back from your £5000! A nice VG+/EX- copy at a great price! OR7041)
