The labels are black with silver text. The Parlophone text and logo are in striking yellow. There are only one or two very light marks around the centre spindle hole indicating very little play. There is a tiny spot of paper loss where a sticker looks to have been removed, otherwise really nice.

The vinyl is in beautiful condition. It has obviously been well cared for over the last 50+ years as there are no obvious marks or scratches of any kind, only one or two minor paper scuffs, which take some close inspection held in the light to even detect, something of a miracle considering that Beatles albums were often taken to parties and played to death in the 1960s.

The Garrod and Lofthouse front laminated sleeve is in nice condition. Apart from a little light discolouration and minor wear at the corners, the laminate is clean, crisp, with just a little light creasing. The edges and spine are sharp, with minimal wear or edge scuffing, just some scuffing to the corners & the spine is clearly readable.
The rear of the sleeve, not protected by laminate is often stained, written on, discoloured or generally tatty. This copy is nearly as good as the day it was made with only a little mild discolouration to stop it being otherwise near perfect.
