THE BEATLES Meet The Beatles (1964 Japanese first Odeon issue 14-track RED 'Everclean' vinyl LP. Issued in Mono only & known as the 'Japanese Version', this issue has a different tracklisting to the US release. The silk laminated, scalloped flipback picture sleeve also has different coloured front cover titles in red & orange & Japanese sleeve notes on the back. Original obi's on this issue are usually worth at least 10 times the price of the LP, if you're ever lucky enough to find, or afford, one! OR7041)

Most copies of this LP were issued on the regular black vinyl, however during the mid 1960's the Japanese were experimenting with red 100% virgin vinyl with a chemical called Everclean. This chemical helped reduce static build-up but was discontinued due to the production costs!

Both the laminated scalloped flipback sleeve and vinyl are in VG condition at best; a serviceable collection filler, as a mint copy with obi would be in excess of £1K+!
