Tracklisting & More Information

The sweet Durham lass who first recorded for Island at the tender age of seventeen, now found herself on Ray Davies' own label, still just twenty one years old & working with a full band.

A departure from the pure singer/songwriter roots maybe, but a worthy one.
One of the many twists and turns in Claire's varied career that has seen her go from an English Joni Mitchell to the Queen of the New Age with the release of her album 'Voices' in 1986.

She's bubbled under the mainstream for so long that many people have yet to hear her work in any of its incarnations and that is a great pity.
This album showcases a more worldly Claire with songs invoking travel and in some places reflecting upon it. It had been a fast and furious four years so far.
This was her second and final album on Ray Davies' label before a period of reflection and personal time ended with the release of her album 'Touchpaper' in 1984.
