A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

MORTIMER On Our Way Home (2017 UK limited edition 11-track vinyl LP released exclusively for Record Store Day - Signed to Apple by George Harrison in November 1968, the New York City trio Mortimer recorded an album with producer Peter Asher [his second production effort, the first being James Taylor's 1968 Apple debut, of which 'On Our Way Home' bears many sonic similarities]. Upon hearing a rough mix of the Mortimer LP, Paul McCartney was intrigued and impressed by the acoustic base of Mortimer's sound and offered them the song On Our Way Home [as the then still-unreleased Beatles track Two Of Us was then titled]. Mortimer recorded their own version of the track and it was slated to be their debut Apple single and the opening track of their Apple album. Housed in the sealed picture sleeve RPMLP987)

THE CORRS Signed Pair of Gloves (From a vast collection of memorabilia items, from a super fan. What we have here, as the title suggests, is a pair of gloves used by Caroline Corr during one of the concerts, each glove has been boldly signed by her on the thumb in a black pen. These have been mounted either side of a fantastic candid image of or her behind her drum kit during a concert, taken by the original owner during one of the many shows he attended. All mounted on a red die-cutmount and professionally framed & glazed in a specially made box frame with a black wooden frame, looks fantastic and ready for displaying)
