A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

METALLICA Master Of Puppets (Classic 1986 UK Music For Nations 8-track vinyl LP on the 'Patrick Swayze' label, the third studio album by American heavy metal band and the last to feature Cliff Burton who was sadly killed during the European leg of the tour supporting the album. This edition comes in a glossy non-barcoded picture sleeve with illustrated lyric inner. The sleeve has a little shelfwear to the edges & corners however, the inner has little wear with no splits or rips andthe vinyl has only a couple of very light hairlines with minimal evidence of play MFN60)

Tracklisting: 1. Battery 2. Master Of Puppets 3. The Thing That Should Not Be 4. Welcome Home (Sanitarium) 5. Disposable Heroes 6. Leper Messiah 7. Orion 8. Damage, Inc.
LED ZEPPELIN Electric Magic - Wembley Pool (Genuine & Highly Sought After 1971 UK 39" x 30" Poster for the Saturday 20th November 1971 concert held at the Empire Pool in Wembley as part of the famous "Electric Magic" shows from Led Zeppelin'sWinter 1971 United Kingdom Tour [11 November - 15 December 1971]. Taking place immediately after the release of the band's fourth album, all tickets sold out despite going on sale less than a week before the commencement of the tour. It has been suggested that this tour confirmed the status of Led Zeppelin's supremacy in the United Kingdom rock marketplace. This highly desirable poster was designed by Paper Tiger & the artwork is exclusive, drawn in an incredibly bold & colourful comic book style with Art Noveau type decoration to reflect the nature of the shows. The five hour "Electric Magic" shows included vaudeville circus acts with plate spinners, trapeze artists & performing pigs dressed in policeman's uniforms(!), & incorporated supporting acts such as Stone The Crows, which was a rare event for Led Zeppelin at this point in their career. Use of the famous "four symbols" is depicted in the poster's design, as this was the first concert tour on which the band visually projected the symbols. The wonderful psychedelic imagery has the wording "Buffalo Concert Presentations In Assocation With Peter Grant..." at the top & "All Seats 75p... Tickets Available At All Branches Of Harlequin Records" at the bottom (yes, just 75p!!), with the venue, date & 'Plus Supporting Acts' as well as the Paper Tiger credit bottom right. An example last sold at Bonhams in December 2015 for a far higher asking price. This poster is in remarkable condition. The thick paper has kept the colours as rich & vivid as the day it was made. There are eight small staple pin holes to show its history where it was once displayed for promotional purposes, & some corner creasing from handling. There is no writing or any major blemishes to the artwork & just a couple of small & minor edge tears to mention. There is a 1.5" vertical hairline tear in the bottom right edge by the word 'Graphics', with all text legible, & two small half inch tears by the left side edge near the bottom. The poster is unbacked & stored rolled. Seriously outstanding, this is simply one of the best posters we have ever seen. Highly prized & collectable, there can only be a small number of these original posters left in circulation & rarely do they appear on the market. We only have one!)
WAYNE SHORTER Night Dreamer (1964 US first press 6-track mono LP on the 'New York USA' address label, with the 'ear' markings & the 'Van Gelder' stamps in the run-outs. This was Shorter's debut album for Blue Note, expertly backed by Lee Morgan,McCoy Tyner, Reginald Workman & Elvin Jones for a set of Shorter originals. This copy originates from the private collection of a former staff member for Dobells record shop in Charing Cross, London. The pasted picture sleeve grades VG, with some age foxing on the back & with all text legible, including along the spine. The original UK tax import sticker is attached on the back. The cover otherwise shows just a little edge discolouring & a few scuff marks in the paper around the edge [very mild paper crease on the front]. The vinyl grades Excellent & is super clean with very few signs of play & stunning sound performance & comes complete with the original catalogue inner BLP4173)

Tracklisting: A1 Night Dreamer A2 Oriental Folk Song A3 Virgo B1 Black Nile B2 Charcoal Blues B3 Armageddon
THE BEATLES Rubber Soul (1965 UK first pressing 14-track stereo vinyl LP with 'Gramophone Co' perimeter and 'Sold in UK' central label text, complete with EmiTex paper lined inner, front laminated flipback picture sleeve PCS3075)
See 'more info' for condition details...

Tracklisting: Sleeve The front laminated flipback sleeve has 'Garrod & Lofthouse... Patents pending' text on the back to the lower right. The back has a 'Keating & Rumens LTD' shop label attached and strangely date stamped '23 Mar 1968', and the past owner has put some pen marks next to their favourite songs but these are minimal. There is a small amount of scuffing to the bottom edge with some laminate lift on the front and some light discolouration visible to show for its fifty years. Vinyl The labels are the legendary black and yellow Parlophone design used on most of the UK Beatles originals until 'The Beatles' (White Album). The labels are free from writing, sticker marks or tears. The silver text of the tracklisting is clear and bright, the yellow of 'Parlophone' is striking. The matrix numbers in the run out groove are: YEX 178-3 YEX 179-3 There are only a couple of light marks around the spindle hole visible on the labels, showing this has had minimal play. The vinyl remains excellent, with only a couple of light hairlines visable. A very nice copy of this classic album in excellent condition! Tracklisting: 01. Drive My Car 02. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) 03. You Won't See Me 04. Nowhere Man 05. Think For Yourself 06. The Word 07. Michelle 08. What Goes On 09. Girl 10. I'm Looking Through You 11. In My Life 12.
