A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

SYD BARRETT The Madcap Laughs (Second issue 1970 UK 13-track vinyl LP, on an EMI box Harvest label with 'Gramophone Co' perimeter text. Syd's debut solo album finally appeared two years after leaving Pink Floyd, with Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters producing. This is a brilliant but brittle album, with every strum of the electric guitar seeming to take its toll on Barrett's increasingly frayed nerve strings. The laminated gatefold sleeve has just minor laminate wear and the vinyl appears barely played! SHVL765)

This rare collector's set is housed in a 12" square box & comes complete with a twelve page illustrated booklet, an English/Japanese insert with concert notes by David Wald, a limited fold-out colour poster & a picture obi-strip. The poster has some foxing on the plain back panels, a natural occurence with Japanese paper goods over time, & has never been displayed, it remains otherwise folded from new. The packaging is Excellent, with just a light horizontal fold in the middle of the obi & some mild foxing on the inside which is also visible on the labels. The vinyl discs themselves appears near mint YB-8508~10)

CHEECH & CHONG Up In Smoke (1978 US 16-track vinyl LP featuring the soundtrack from the cult movie, housed in the gatefold picture sleeve with the Warner paper inner.
