A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

MANFRED MANN CHAPTER THREE Volume Two (Rare 1970 UK 7-track LP on the large 'swirl' Vertigo label, gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve shows a few faint scuffs & a little paper loss in places but remains a very nice VG+/EX- example nonetheless, with the Keef designed artwork still looking stunning & all text clearly readable. The vinyl has managed to remain in excellent condition with just a couple of very light surface scuffs to show for its forty years. A nice copy of this hard to find release at an advantageous price)

Tracklisting: 1. Lady Ace 2. I Ain't Laughing 3. Poor Sad Sue 4. Jump Before You Think 5. Its Good to Be Alive 6. Happy Being Me 7. Virginia
ROLLING STONES The Rest Of The Best - The Rolling Stones Story Part 2 (Very rare 1984 German only second edition fifty track Quadruple compilation LP box set of single tracks & rarities, with each disc in its own individual picture sleeve inside. What makes this collection rather special is that it also includes a single sided wide centred white label 7" featuring the infamous 'Cocksucker Blues'. This was the one and only time worldwide that this track was ever released legitimately)
See 'More Info' ...

Tracklisting: This was actually the second run of this box set. Unusually the first runs did NOT include the single sided 7". The first runs the year before were on the red boxed logo label. This second run was 'spiced up' to improve sales by the inclusion of the never before released 'Cocksucker Blues' track. Teldec thought they'd played a master stroke to boost sales, but Decca in London were not so pleased. Decca had refused to release it in 1970 & had not been consulted about this particular issue & therefore demanded that it be withdrawn and the track removed. Copies like this WITH the 7" were just about hitting the shops when they had to get them withdrawn, so very few actually made it to be available for purchase by customers. Even though, as a rarities compilation it is extremely well put together and contains many rare and hard to obtain versions, both the first and second issues of this box set sold poorly, making finding a very early copy of the second issue with the 7" today a particularly hard job. This box set remains in wonderful condition with the laminated picture box showing very little shelfwear. The seam at one corner has given way but that's about it. The vinyl inside remains near 'as new' & the illustrated tracklisting inners are also in fine fettle. So, here it is, the only legitimate release in the world, ever, of the infamous Rolling Stones track that Decca refused to put out. What is quite amusing is that for this legitimate release, even TelDec (Tel[efunken/]Dec[ca]) in Germany had to source the track from a vinyl bootleg ! Tracklisting: Tracklist : Stoned 2:07 Come On 1:50 I Want To Be Loved 1:51 Poison Ivy (1st Version) 2:35 Fortune Teller (Studio Version) 2:15 Money (That's What I Want) 2:32 Surprise Surprise 2:32 Little Red Rooster 3:03 Tell Me (2nd Version) 1:54 Time Is On My Side (1st Single Version) 2:50 Congratulations 2:28 I've Been Lovin' You Too Long 2:50 Da Doo Ron Ron 2:20 Memphis Tennessee 2:27 >The Rolling Stones Live! : We Want The Stones / Everybody Needs Somebody To Love 0:46 Pain In My Heart 2:00 Route 66 2:33 I'm Movin' On 2:11 I'm All Right 2:20 Everybody Needs Somebody To Love (2nd Version) 3:02 One More Try 1:58 The Last Time 3:35 Play With Fire 2:15 (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction 3:45 The Spider And The Fly 3:40 Get Off Of My Cloud 3:00 The Singer Not The Song 2:22 As Tears Go By 2:33 19th Nervous Breakdown 3:55 Look What You've Done 2:17 Blue Turns To Grey 2:32 Sad Day 3:00 Con Le Mie Lacrime (As Tears Go By - Italian Version) 2:45 Paint It, Black 3:22 Long Long While 3:00 Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In The Shadow 2:33 Who's Driving Your Plane 3:11 Let's Spend The Night Together 3:20 Ruby Tuesday 3:12 We Love You 4:39 Dandelion 3:56 Sittin' On A Fence 2:53 Ride On Baby 2:53 My Girl 2:35 Jumpin' Jack Flash 3:40 Child Of The Moon 3:08 Honky Tonk Women 3:00 You Can't Always Get What You Want (Single Version) 5:00 Memo From Turner 4:00 Natural Magic 1:37 Bonus 7" Cocksucker Blues [Uncredited White Label]
DEPECHE MODE Construction Time Again (Original 1983 UK 16-page 13" x 9½" colour tour programme features UK and European tour dates, tour personnel and loads of colour photographs, plus great double-page band picture and front cover. The covershows just a few signs of with some spine creasing, but the inner pages are near 'as new'. An amazing piece of Depeche Mode history)
DEPECHE MODE Devotional Tour 93/94 (1993 UK 36-page 11" x 15" tour programme on heavyweight paper featuring many sepia-tinted photographs, housed in an outer brown card sleeve with black 'cross' logo. Also includes fold-out merchandise flyer)
