A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

PINK FLOYD The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (1967 UK second variant 11-track stereo vinyl LP on the blue & black Columbia label, front laminated picture sleeve with 'File Under Popular: Pop Groups' printed along the top flipback. The sleeve is graded Very Good and the vinyl Excellent SCX6157)
See 'More Info' for further details...

Tracklisting: Background & Condition This remarkable album is in astonishing condition and is a one previous owner copy. The album was released on August 5, 1967 in mono and one month later it was released in stereo. The album's name comes from the title of the seventh chapter of Kenneth Grahame's 'The Wind in the Willows'! There are significant differences between the stereo & mono mixes. Subtle changes in effects abound, moment to moment gradations that can alter the flow of an entire track. For example, Syd Barrett’s whoops and shouts on 'Take Up Thy Stethoscope And Walk'. The coda of 'Flaming' is longer than on the mono version, as is 'The Gnome'. 'Interstellar Overdrive' is without the bongo fadeout of the mono mix and there are seriously different parts in 'Pow R Toch H'. The Sleeve The Ernest J. Day & Co. sleeve is dated 6709, with the second variant 'File Under POPULAR: Pop Groups' text on the top flipback. Complete with the original advert inner, this is a beautiful one previous owner copy. The sleeve is fantastic looking, with bright clear laminate, secure flipbacks, incredible off white back panel, a glorious looking spine, & just a spot of mild age yellowing creeping in to a few corners. We are grading this example Very Good, as a previous owner has written their thoughts about three songs next to the tracklisting on the reverse. The Label The labels are the desirable blue & black variety, with 'Sold In UK' & 'Gramophone Co' label text, & the KT tax code on side 1. The labels are unblemished with not a trace of spindle wear indicating hardly any play in its life. The matrix numbers read : YAX 3419-1 On Side One YAX 3420-1 On Side Two Vinyl The vinyl remains an Excellent, beautiful & clean example. There are just the very lightest, mere few paper scuffs from where it has been taken in & out of the sleeve on the odd occasion, but looks like it's never seen a turntable, certainly not for a very long time. A really very pleasing example of this British Psych landmark LP. Tracklisting 1. Astronomy Dominé 2. Lucifer Sam 3. Matilda Mother 4. Flaming 5. Pow R Toc H 6. Take Up Thy Stethoscope And Walk 7. Interstellar Overdrive 8. The Gnome 9. Chapter 24 10. Scarecrow 11. Bike

Tracklisting: 1. Don't Stop Believin' 4:10 2. Stone In Love 4:24 3. Who's Crying Now 5:00 4. Keep On Runnin' 3:38 5. Still They Ride 3:46 6. Escape 5:15 7. Lay It Down 4:12 8. Dead Or Alive 3:20 9. Mother, Father 5:27 10. Open Arms 3:18
PET SHOP BOYS West End Girls (1984 Belgian 12" vinyl single featuring the Epic 7:50 Extended Mix of the title track & the 5:10 'Pet Shop Boys', both produced by Bobby Orlando & pre-dating the re-recorded Stephen Hague produced versions. The unique picture sleeve displays some minor wear mostly to the edges & the vinyl remains excellent with little sign of play. A great copy of this now hard to find release CHAN12/19)

Tracklisting: 1. West End Girls - Extended Mix 7:50 2. West End Girls 5:10
ROSEMARY SQUIRES Rosemary (1960 UK 4-track 7" mono EP, including I Lost My Sugar In Salt Lake City, Solitude, My One And Only & Compared to you, fully laminated flipback picture sleeve.
