VIC LEWIS & HIS ORCHESTRA Progressive Jazz Volume 1 (Rare 1955
UK 7-track mono 10'' EP, recorded at the Royal Festival Hall, London
under the auspices of the National Jazz Federation. Ronnie
Chamberlain and Red Mitchell are featured among a number of
younger British jazz players coming through the ranks at the time. The
picture sleeve is fully laminated with 'scalloped' flipbacks. Despite a
small front tear over the 'recording' print bottom-left, the sleeve
remains in excellent condition. The vinyl shows just one or two
inaudible surface marks - the labels are pristine indicating very little
play. A fine copy! LF1216)
