Condition : -

Obtained from its one fastidious owner, we have never seen a US original of this in the flesh, & not for lack of trying. Well kept since the day it was bought from new, the sleeve is the heavyweight, pasted variety of the fifties, when record jackets were made of firmer stuff, & is front laminated & back pasted, with a typically cool Prestige design layout.
The laminate is beautiful & tight, retaining rich colours underneath. There is no writing & all text is clearly legible. All that stops the sleeve from being near mint are the lightly scuffed corners, one of which has resulted in some minor paper splitting but this is barely the size of a thumbnail. It really is a stunning example.
The vinyl still gleams & appears to be a very impressive copy, indeed. And boy does it sound good, with no distortion & outstanding clarity. We have professionally cleaned the disc & the condition remains Excellent, with only the very lightest cosmetic wear to show for its sixty years in the dark. Who knows if we'll ever see this one again!
