Originally released on LHI Records in March 1968, the ISB was an early project of Gram Parsons, predating his work with The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers, andgave a glimpse of the path he was destined to follow, pioneering country rock styles before they became fashionable, including four of Parsons' original compositions plus six covers of classic country and rock and roll songs made famous by the likes of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Merle Haggard and Hank Snow, fold-out picture sleeve inlay with extensive liner notes CDSD071)
