The Blues Volumes 1 - 4

VARIOUS The Blues Volumes 1 - 4 (1964-65 UK 47-track mono 4-LP compilation set on Pye & Chess [Vol. 4 on Chess], featuring legendary recordings by legendary figures of The Blues, including Sonny Boy Williamson, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, John Lee Hooker & more, with all four parts housed in their respective front laminated flipback sleeves. The sleeves are a little dog-eared after half a century in the wild, but there are no tears or writing, all print is legible & the flipbacks secure. Each vinyl disc is clean & meets a VG+/EX- grade, with just a few faint paper scuffs or the odd light hairline not affecting play)
