This set of photographs were taken by Byron Barr circa 1979 when Double Trouble were joined onstage by Lou Ann Barton (a separate shot of Lou Ann is included as part of the set). She had been in Stevie Ray's previous band Triple Threat and occasionally performed with Double Trouble in 1978 and '79.

The images of Stevie are unpublished and part of a limited run of just 50 of each! They differ dramatically from the hat wearing axeman we see on his album sleeves - the two black and white photographs show him with permed hair, while the colour shots show him dressed from head to toe in black with a greased back Elvis-style quiff!

This superb set puts you right there in the club with the band - you can almost feel the sweat running down the walls.

Quite simply, a piece of rock history.
