A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...
 | THE BEATLES With The Beatles (Rare 1963 UK first press
14-track STEREO LP , complete with 'Emitex' poly
lined inner, G&L front laminated rounded flipback picture
sleeve with large block 'stereo' on the front, 'Gotta' misprint
on the back & 'Patents Pending' on the bottom flipback. In
1963, stereo copies were only available by special order, so
are consequently VERY difficult to find, especially in
nice condition like this one! PCS3045) See 'more info' for
further details ...
Tracklisting: Released on November 22nd 1963, this was the second Beatles release in the UK.
The labels are the classic black and yellow Parlophone with 'Recording First Published' but without 'Sold In The UK' text. The perimeter print is in capitals & credits 'THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD'.
The Side Two label also carries the misprint of 'Gotta' & the credit of 'Jobete Mus. NCB' for 'Money'.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1 YEX 110-2
Side 2 YEX 111-2
Condition:-
The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback picture sleeve is in superb shape with 'Patents Pending' credit on the bottom flip & large block 'stereo' on the front. This is the 'darker' print front and, like the labels, it misprints 'You Really Got A Hold On Me' as 'Gotta'.
The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear and a couple of minor creases at the opening. The reverse has a small area of discolouration to the top, otherwise clean & off-white.
The vinyl has just a few light scuffs here & there and a little spindlewear to the labels leaving it Excellent. Thanks to the superior quality of this 1963 pressing, audibly this remains fantastic.
This copy has obviously been played on good equipment & with a good stylus throughout its lifespan.
This is a very nice copy in great condition!

 | PAUL WELLER Stanley Road (2017 UK/EU limited edition
12-track LP pressed on 180-gram heavyweight black vinyl,
Weller's classic 1995 album including The Changingman, You
Do Something To Me and a cover of I Walk On Gilded Splinters,
guest starring Noel Gallagher, Steve Winwood, Steve Cradock
& Steve White. Single pocket gatefold picture sleeve with
cover artwork designed by Sir Peter Blake, factory sealed.
Recommended)
Tracklisting: Weller’s landmark, multi-platinum selling No. 1 album which stayed 87 weeks in the chart. It spawned the classic hits "The Changing Man", "You Do Something To Me" and "Broken Stones". Stanley Road is the third album by Paul Weller originally released by Go! Discs in 1995.
The album's cover collage was created by the artist Peter Blake, designer of the Beatles' Sgt Pepper's album artwork. Weller claimed on a BBC special that he hopes he can one day create an album as perfect as this one, stating that all the stars were aligned during the writing and recording period of Stanley Road.
The album had several notable contributors such as Noel Gallagher of Oasis, who appears playing acoustic guitar on the Dr. John cover "I Walk On Gilded Splinters", Steve Winwood (formerly of the Spencer Davis Group amongst others) performs on the songs "Woodcutters Son" and "Pink On White Walls", whilst Weller is also joined by long-time collaborators Steve Craddock (co-founder of Ocean Colour Scene) and Steve White (the Style Council and brother of Alan White the former Oasis stick man).
