SAM GOPAL Escalator (Very Rare 1969 UK-only first press 11-track LP, the debut & only album by the underground British Hard Psychedelic Rock band starring a pre-Hawkwind Ian Willis, aka Lemmy Kilmister on vocals, lead & rhythm guitar. Comes housed in a unique textured gatefold picture sleeve with the band looking mean as! The sleeve [VG+] has some scuffing around the edges and spine due to the design but all text is legible. The vinyl is clean & grades VG+ with some spindle marks around the centre hole & some light paper hairlines not affecting play. Playback remains superb & this title remains very much in demand & is therefore priced accordingly SLE8001)
