A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin II (Yet another odd find from Atlantic records & Zeppelin. This rare 1969 UK 9-track vinyl LP has the second issue plum & red Atlantic label which lists The Lemon Song on both sleeve & labels where later issues list it as Killing Floor, and has the corrected Livin' Lovin' Maid. However, this example has the hand scratched matrices '588-198-A' and '588-198-B' with the second number 8 crossed out and re-etched above, the second issue had stamped matrix details, housed in a light brown gatefold picture sleeve)
See'More Info' for further details...

Tracklisting: More Information This was the second studio album, released on the 22nd October 1969. The first issue label features 'The Lemon Song' title but following a claim of plagiarism levelled at Led Zeppelin [shock, horror!], this song had to be renamed to 'Killing Floor' and credited to Chester Burnett. The Polydor press sleeves are also a lighter brown in colour. The sleeve also credits 'The Lemon Song' and this was not changed for later issues. The labels still list 'Copyright Control' publishing credits and have 'Produced by Jimmy Page' under the titles. The second issue has corrected the 'Livin' Lovin' Wreck' error of the first issue and now reads 'Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's A Woman)', which is still wrong and was further corrected with the third Polydor imprint. 'Thank You' is still one word, which was also corrected with the third imprint. The Side Two composer credits for Heartbreaker & Moby Dick still list 'Jones' rather than 'Baldwin'. This second issue should have the matrix details stamped, rather than scratched, however as mentioned about this example still has them scratched. Another thing to point out, the labels have two rings visible, the same as the first issue and were not present on the second pressing. Condition The sleeves for the early issues are known for being easily damaged. This copy shows only a little light shelfwear with minor edge & corner scuffing. The labels have a few marks around the spindle hole, to show it has been played a few times, but nothing too excessive. The vinyl is Excelleny with a few light signs of play, and just a few light cosmetic marks A wonderful copy of this forty five year old classic. Tracklisting 01. Whole Lotta Love 02. What Is & What Should Never Be 03. The Lemon Song 04. Thankyou 05. Heartbreaker 06. Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's A Woman) 07. Ramble On 08. Moby Dick 09. Bring It On Home
MICHAEL JACKSON Off The Wall (1979 Japanese promo stamped 7" vinyl single, also including Get On The Floor, unique Japanese-only 'Suzuki Love' picture insert, showing Michael standing next to a Suzuki Scooter on a building rooftop with Japanese text biography and English lyrics printed on the reverse. The insert displays minimal wear and the vinyl looks barely played 06.5P-94)

Tracklisting: 1. Off The Wall 3:50 2. Get On The Floor 4:40
NEW ORDER Blue Monday (Classic 1983 UK first press 12" single, also including The Beach, Peter Saville die-cut sleeve with original silver inner. The sleeve has just a few minor storage marks and the vinyl has just the odd light sign of play -anexcellent example FAC73)

Tracklisting: 1. Blue Monday 2. The Beach
