A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin (Extremely rare 1969 UK 9-track first issue stereo LP with 'Superhype' publishing credit on the labels, legendary fully laminated sleeve with turquoise lettering. The matrix numbers are not scratched out, indicating that this is the first batch press. This copy has been loved but looked after with care & remains highly desirable at a very advantageous price - an unmissable opportunity to own one of the most coveted collectables going!)
See 'MoreInfo' for further details ...

Tracklisting: Released on 31st March 1969, this was the world debut of Led Zeppelin. The very first UK issue had this Turquoise lettered sleeve. The rear picture is a degree more brown tinted than the later orange copies. There is a noticeable grey bar at the bottom of the front image which characterised the Polydor pressings and was removed when they changed to Warner distribution. The reverse of the sleeve has the 'Uptight An' Outasight' credit that was replaced with a Warner credit after the Polydor issues. The labels have 'Superhype' and 'Jewel Music' credits under the tracklisting & the label design is the familiar plum & red design with black fan to the right, 'Made in Gt. Britain' at the top & 'Polydor Records Limited' at the bottom. More details on Condition: Sleeve The sleeve remains in very nice condition with a few obvious laminate creases evident, particularly at the corners. There is a small amount of laminate lift in places, which is normal, particularly at the spine. There is some scuffing at the corners but otherwise it shows no more shelfwear than you would expect, and has a 1 inch tear on the opening edge at the front with a connected crease. Its condition as a fifty year old album remains very respectable indeed. The front image is still very white and could easily be displayed. A Very Good example of a very sought after sleeve. Vinyl The matrix numbers are 588171 A//1 & 588171 B//1 and are not scratched out as in later issues. This is a nice one previous owner copy. Looking at the label, there are a few signs of play with a lot of marks around the centre hole. Visually there are some very faint cosmetic signs of play, with some noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. We have graded this as Very Good, it has been professionally cleaned both sides and it plays without fault and displays no major deterioration in sound quality, thanks to the superior quality of this pre-oil crisis pressing. All in all a very acceptable copy at a competitive price. Tracklisting 01. Good Times Bad Times 02. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You 03. You Shook Me 04. Dazed & Confused 05. Your Time Is Gonna Come 06. Black Mountain Side 07. Communication Breakdown 08. I Can't Quit You Baby 09. How Many More Times
AC/DC Pistolas de Alquiler (Very Scarce 1983 Spanish advance issue of the Guns For Hire 7" single, with wide centred monochrome labels stamped 'Disco Promocional Prohibida Su Venta' in blue one side. Also features 'Landslide', housed in a fully textured picture sleeve with unique Spanish song title. From the archives of a former Spanish radio station, the cover shows very little of its age & the vinyl appears near mint)
THE SWEET Sweet Fanny Adams (1974 UK 9-track LP including the classic Set Me Free, with its ultra high harmonies & proto-speed metal frenzy, the brilliant title track, & the funky [& later sampled] Into The Night, fully laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear with some laminate lift at the spine & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with just a few light surface scuffs to show for over forty five years LPL15038)

Tracklisting: 1. Set Me Free 2. Heartbreak Today 3. No You Don't 4. Rebel Rouser 5. Peppermint Twist 6. Sweet F.A. 7. Restless 8. In To The Night 9. AC-DC
