The label is of the 'rough' CBS variety, with centre boxed logo, '33' instead of '33 1/3' near the bottom left corner of the logo & 'Blossom Music Ltd' Credit to the centre right.
Condition :-
The sleeve is front laminated with round ended flipbacks and is folded over at the spine, confirming a first issue.
The spine is still clearly readable & there are no blemishes that affect the print. A few creases & scuff marks/discolouration to the laminate make for a fine VG example. The panels & edges are unmarked with just the odd corner scuff, & there is some faint foxing and a few spots of discolouration to the unlaminated rear, forgiveable with age. The previous owner has carefully written their name just below the flipback on the back.
The labels have no tears or writing & the matrices are machine stamped in the run-outs. The vinyl shows hairlines & scuffs leaving it in VG condition. A very respectable acquisition of this over 50 year old classic Bob Dylan LP. |
| MICHAEL JACKSON Dangerous (2018 UK/EU limited edition
14-track double album 2-LP Picture Disc, Michael's
blockbuster 1991 album featuring the hit singles Black Or
White, Remember The Time, Heal The World, Jam, In The
Closet, and more. The stunning artwork for Dangerous shows
at its very best on this special picture disc format. Housed
inside gatefold clear display sleeve, with title insert, still
sealed)
Tracklisting: MJ was still going for pop hits with 1991's Dangerous, but he also front-loaded the album with six straight Teddy Riley-assisted cuts. This half-hour swoop of tense, aggressive, often angular funk was Jackson's most interesting music since Thriller, and still sounds, well, invincible on this remastered edition. After that, the record's uneven, but there's nothing embarrassing about it, either. 'Gone Too Soon,' a non-Jackson composition about teen AIDS casualty Ryan White, is a quiet statement (particularly played next to the choir-laden 'Heal the World,' 'Keep the Faith,' and 'Will You Be There') showing that the star doesn't always have to get showy. The sprightly 'Black or White' is explicitly pro-interracial romance, an angle its video didn't go near, and the urgent 'Give In to Me' is almost scary. Scary good, that is.
First time on picture disc and mastered from High Definition audio. This picture disc edition features the original album art across its four sides.
Side 1
1. Jam
2. Why You Wanna Trip on Me
3. In The Closet
Side 2
1. She Drives Me Wild
2. Remember the Time
3. Can’t Let Her Get Away
4. Heal The World
Side 3
1. Black or White
2. Who Is It
3. Give In To Me
Side 4
1. Will You Be There
2. Keep the Faith
3. Gone Too Soon
4. Dangerous |
