EDDIE BOYD Five Long Years (1966 UK stereo 12-track vinyl LP, front laminated picture sleeve with pasted reverse panel. Wonderful set cut while he was in the midst of the 1965 American Folk Blues Festival tour of Europe. Mike Vernon [Blue Horizon] teamed Boyd up with guitarist Buddy Guy, bassist Jimmie Lee Robinson, and drummer Fred Below for an inspired run-through of many Boyd classics; "I'm Comin' Home," "24 Hours," "Five Long Years". The sleeve displays some light shelfwear andscuffs to the non laminated reverse whilst the vinyl shows just some light spindle marks and scuffs remaining excellent. FJL.905)

Tracklisting: Five Long Years Hello Stranger Where You Belong I'm Comin' Home My Idea The Big Question Come On Home Blue Monday Blues Eddie's Blues All The Way Twenty-Four Hours Of Fear Rock The Rock
FRANK ZAPPA Freak Out! (Incredibly rare original 1967 UK 11-track Stereo single LP on the black Verve label (with U.S.A. Recording text), superb front laminated flipback picture sleeve variant. This album was only ever released as a single album in the UK, France, Italy & Germany & is far & away the most difficult to source of all the Zappa UK releases SVLP.9154)
See 'More Info' for details ...

Tracklisting: This is the rarest of the rare when it comes to UK FZ releases. Issued in March 1967 by EMI, the next issue in the early 70s was as a double, stereo only, issued by Polydor. This album was issued in both Mono & Stereo, with the Mono copies being most common. The tracklisting is as follows :- 01. Hungry Freaks, Daddy 02. I Ain't Got No Heart 03. Who Are the Brain Police? 04. Motherly Love 05. Wowie Zowie 06. You Didn't Try to Call Me 07. I'm Not Satisfied 08. You're Probably Wondering Why I'm Here 09. Trouble Comin' Every Day 10. Help, I'm a Rock 11. The Return of the Son of Monster Magnet Unique to this pressing [& the Mono equivalent] is the inclusion of the 2:35 SINGLE version of 'Trouble Every Day'. Normally these are found in 'much loved' condition. Although not Mint - the sleeve - a unique single pocket flipback variant for the UK issue, is in EX- condition. The previous owner carefully wrote his name just below the top flipback, and the unlaminated back shows only the lightest signs of discolouration/age, with all text clearly readable. There are a few creases to the laminate to the edges, but again nothing notable. The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is nicely dated '6703' on the bottom flipback. All three flipbacks are secure. The vinyl is graded VG; there are light hairlines/scuffs, with mild spindlewear, but nothing too distinctive. The KT tax code is clearly visible to Side 1, with both sides displaying the 'A U.S.A. Recording' text. Still a desirable collectable - only the second copy we've seen in over nine years - when will you see another?
