 | JERUSALEM Jerusalem (Rare 1972 UK second issue 9-track
stereo LP on the red & white Deram label, produced by Deep
Purple's Ian Gillan and housed in a front laminated gatefold
sleeve with a very proto-'stoner rock' type cover plus album
notes by Gillan on the back. This was Jerusalem's one & only
album, & recommended for fans of Deep Purple, Pussy (featuring
members of Jerusalem), Captain Beyond, Pentagram, Sabbath,
Angel Witch, Bang... they gigged throughout Europe & shared
the same stage as bands such as Black Sabbath, Deep Purple,
Uriah Heep & Status Quo, this is some great raw & primitive
proto-metal/proto-punk! The sleeve shows just a little creasing
to the laminate & light weakening to the spine but otherwise
there are no blemishes to the print & the condition is excellent.
The labels have a few spindle marks and vinyl is clean with just a
few light cosmetic marks, we have play tested and can confirm it
plays and sounds really nice. We've never seen this one before!
