 | IRON MAIDEN The Clairvoyant (Rare 1988 UK UNCUT
test pressing of their limited edition shaped 7" Picture
Disc single, also including a live version of The Prisoner,
recorded at the Monsters Of Rock Festival on the 20th of
Augustthat year. Featuring the 'flaming head' Eddie image by
Derek Riggs. This superb rarity has not been cut to the
finished shape but remains as a 12" disc with clear area
surrounding the central image EMP79) See 'More Info' for
further details...
Tracklisting: More Details
Uncut picture discs are generally used as 'test pressings', a few are always made to check the image alignment and print quality before the final run is cut to the desired shape and remains as a 12" disc with clear vinyl surrounding the central image.
Sometimes the image is different of has an error, as it is purely produced as a test, this copy has the tip of the point missing but this happend at the time of pressing.
Condition
The disc has minimal surface marks and actually sounds really good. Early 1980s picture discs are known for having an issue with tea staining, this copy shows no discolouration and is still clear.
These rarely appear for sale, so finding in such a great condition is a bonus.
Tracklisting
1. The Clairvoyant
2. The Prisoner - Live |
