A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

QUEEN A Night At The Opera (Exceptionally rare 1987 Japanese 12-track vinyl LP, manufactured by Toshiba EMI Ltd, a reissue that has become almost mythical in its rarity. This series coincided with the initial wave of Queen albums being issuedinJapan on Compact Disc by EMI, and alongside those very first CD issues were some vinyl re-releases. Pitched against the new CD format these vinyl titles did not sell well at retail and consequently they became instant rarities. In fact, they'resorare we can count on the fingers of one hand the number of copies we've found over the following 30+ years. This example remains in really nice condition, the gatefold barcoded picture sleeve has its slim Toshiba-EMI obi-sash intact; inside there's a gatefold picture insert with Japanese biography, reissue discography and lyrics printed in Japanese. The sleeve displays just a little light wear, the obi has a couple of small tape repairs, whilst the vinyl shows only light signs of play. A rare opportunity indeed to add a fantastic example to your collection EMS-81799)

Tracklisting: 01. Death On Two Legs 02. Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon 03. You're My Best Friend 04. I'm In Love With My Car 05. Sweet Lady 06. Seaside Rendezvous 07. Good Company 08. '39 09. The Prophet's Song 10. Love Of My Life 11. Bohemian Rhapsody 12. God Save The Queen
ROLLING STONES The Rolling Stones No. 2 (Rare 1965 UK second issue 12-track deep groove mono LP, on the unboxed Decca logo 'ffrr' label, front laminated picture sleeve with 'blind man' text on the back. Although this copy is graded VGit actually plays astonishingly well & the quality of this early sixties pressing shines through. See 'more info' for condition details... LK4661)

Tracklisting: 01. Everybody Needs Somebody To Love 02. Down Home Girl 03. You Can't Catch Me 04. Time Is On My Side 05. What A Shame 06. Grown Up Wrong 07. Down The Road Apiece 08. Under The Boardwalk 09. I Can't Be Satisfied 10. Pain In My Heart 11. Off The Hook 12. Suzie-Q The group's second British album actually appeared after their second U.S. LP, mostly owing to the fact that the British rock & roll audience wasn't focused on the long-player as a medium (singles and EPs were the driving force of the business in England then). It uses the same David Bailey cover shot that had graced the U.S issued '12 X 5' album two months earlier, but only four songs (Under The Boardwalk, Suzie Q, Grown Up Wrong and Time Is On My Side) overlap on the two albums. Rather, Rolling Stones No. 2 offered seven songs that weren't to make it out in America until four months later on 'The Rolling Stones Now!' It also includes one of the group's best blues covers, their version of Muddy Waters' I Can't Be Satisfied, which wasn't released in America until 1973 and features some killer slide playing by Brian Jones. The U.K. LP was originally released in mono only. Condition : - The sleeve shows very light signs of its age; a littl light creasing to the front laminate, faint ringwear to the reverse and no splits or tears and the spine text clear & legible - a really nice example. The labels are red with unboxed or open Decca logo and ffrr 'ear' logo, with the deep groove that was omitted from later pressings. There is a fair degree of spindle wear on the labels to show play. The matrices in the run-outs read: XARL-6619-2A XARL-6620-1A The vinyl is clean & still sounds fantastic, thanks to a clean on a high-end Matrix machine & the quality of sixties vinyl pressings. The vinyl has light scuffs & hairlines leaving it in nice VG condition with better reproduction. Far from mint, this is respectable VG copy of this classic Rolling Stones LP.
THE SPECIALS Specials (1979 UK first issue 14-track LP produced by Elvis Costello, including A Message To You Rudy & the original version of Too Much Too Young, front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & thevinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play. A classic 2-Tone record that should be in every collection! CDLTT5001)

Tracklisting: 1. A Message To You Rudy 2. Do The Dog 3. It's Up To You 4. Nite Klub 5. Doesn't Make It Alright 6. Concrete Jungle 7. Too Hot 8. Monkey Man 9. (Dawning Of A) New Era 10. Blank Expression 11. Stupid Marriage 12. Too Much Too Young 13. Little Bitch 14. You're Wondering Now
THE BEATLES The Beatles [White Album] (Transitional 1968 UK 30-track stereo double vinyl LP with 'Sold in UK' label text. This copy HAS 'An E.M.I. Recording' on Sides 1, 3 & 4 but NOT on Side 2, comes in a fully laminated, internal flipback, topopening, individually numbered, embossed gatefold sleeve with black inners, complete with large fold-out lyric poster and four glossy 11" x 8" photos PCS7067-8)
See' More Info' for further details

Tracklisting: Despite hopeful eBay claims, this album was issued simultaneously both with & without 'An E.M.I. Recording' text on the stereo labels. It is not uncommon to find labels with & without in the same sleeve as issued. This confusion has arisen because the first batch of MONO labels were printed without the text, but for the stereo either were used. This copy HAS 'An E.M.I. Recording' on Sides 1, 3 & 4 but NOT on Side 2 Condition : The vinyl remains in Very Good condition with just some spindle wear, a few minor blemishes by way of just light surface scuffs [with no effect on play] and a couple of cosmetic harilines not affecting play. The sleeve - which has the small 'stereo' text on the rear - remains incredibly bright, with little of the 'yellowing/discolouration' more commonly found, there is some edge/corner scuffing visible and the spine remains fully intact. The poster/lyric sheet is in great shape with no rips or tears and appears has never been displayed/hung. All four band member photographs and poster are in excellent shape, retaining the same shine they had 50 years ago. A highly recommended example of this classic release ! Tracklisting :- 01. Back In The U.S.S.R. 02. Dear Prudence 03. Glass Onion 04. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da 05. Wild Honey Pie 06. The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill 07. While My Guitar Gently Weeps 08. Happiness Is A Warm Gun 09. Martha My Dear 10. Im So Tired 11. Blackbird 12. Piggies 13. Rocky Raccoon 14. Don't Pass Me By 15. Why Don't We Do It In The Road 16. I Will 17. Julia 18. Birthday 19. Yer Blues 20. Mother Nature's Son 21. Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me & My Monkey 22. Sexy Sadie 23. Helter Skelter 24. Long Long Long 25. Revolution 1 26. Honey Pie 27. Savoy Truffle 28. Cry Baby Cry 29. Revolution 9 30. Good Night
