the very first reissue labels founded in the late 1960s by Nick Perl,
specializing in early American blues, country,jazz, and other rural
American genres. As the title suggests this LP focuses on early blues
from the Mississippi area and includes material from the known; Skip
James, Charlie Patton, Son House, Robert Johnson to the lesser
known; Mattie Delaney,Bobby Grant, Geechie Wiley. The sleeve
shows some edgwear but is otherwise excellent and the vinyl displays
some mild scuffs/hairlines which don't affect play but highlights the
