 | LENE LOVICH Stateless (1978 UK Limited Edition Picture Disc
LP. A wonderful example of the original limited edition picture
disc issue of Lene Lovich’s groundbreaking debut album — an
avant-pop classic that introduced her singular vocal style,new-wave eccentricity and off-kilter songwriting to a wider
audience. Released at the height of the Stiff Records era,
Stateless includes her signature hit Lucky Number, alongside
Say When, Tonight, and the haunting Too Tender (To Touch),
allpresented with the striking artwork that became
synonymous with Lene’s image.
This early Stiff pressing is issued as an 11-track picture disc
LP, housed in its clear PVC sleeve complete with the original
backing insert. The PVC shows minimal wear, and the disc
itself displays just the lightest evidence of storage — no
heavy scuffing or heavy marks — leaving it in a strong
Excellent condition overall.
A lovely, well-preserved example of this increasingly
collectable Lene Lovich artefact that we have never had
