Tracklisting: Cat-O-Log Records, in partnership with Universal Music Enterprises, is proud to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Cat Stevens’ classic live album, Saturnight (Cat Stevens Live In Tokyo), to be released exclusively on coloured vinyl for Record Store Day Black Friday 2024.
Recorded at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo on 22nd June, 1974, on the Japanese leg of the Bamboozle World Tour that supported the release ofBuddha and the Chocolate Box, Saturnight was Cat Stevens’ very first live album. Originally issued by A&M Records only in Japan, the LP finally sees its first ever international release on November 22nd 2024.
Pressed on limited edition 180g orange splatter vinyl, Saturnight is packaged for the first time in a gatefold jacket with a printed inner sleeve, and features lyrics and new retrospective notes by Hallam Kite, tour manager Carl Miller and bass player Bruce Lynch.
