LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin (Extremely rare 1969 UK 9-track first issue stereo vinyl LP with 'Superhype' publishing credit correct on the labels. The matrix numbers are 588171 A//1 & 588171 B//1 and are not scratched out, housed in the legendary fully laminated picture sleeve with turquoise lettering. The vinyl is a 160gram press. This copy has been well loved but remains highly desirable. See 'More Info' for further details ...)
#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time

Tracklisting: Released on 31st March 1969, this was the world debut of Led Zeppelin. The very first UK issue had this Turquoise lettered sleeve. The rear picture is a degree more brown tinted than the later orange copies. There is a noticeable grey bar at the bottom of the front image which characterised the Polydor pressings and was removed when they changed to Warner distribution. The reverse of the sleeve has the 'Uptight An' Outasight' credit that was replaced with a Warner credit after the Polydor issues. The labels have 'Superhype' and 'Jewel Music' credits under the tracklisting and the side one label has been corrected and now does not erroneously credit the third track twice, with the Superhype credit now listing '1, 2, 4' and not '1, 3, 4'. They are the familiar plum & red design with black fan to the right, 'Made in Gt. Britain' at the top & 'Polydor Records Limited' at the bottom. More details on Condition: Sleeve The sleeve is graded Excellent, with just a few light creases in the laminate creasing. There is a small amount of laminate lift in places, which is normal, particularly at the spine. There is very little scuffing with this example. The front image is still very white and shelfwear remains very much at the level you would expect. Vinyl The matrix numbers are 588171 A//1 & 588171 B//1 and are not scratched out. The labels have spindle marks to show excessive play. Visually, the vinyl appears in Fair condition with many paper scuffs, hairlines & the odd few scratches. We have professionally cleaned both sides & play tested the record & we can confirm that there is no major loss of clarity in sound with just moderate 'crackle' and a couple of minor clicks though the track, You Shook Me. Meaning this record is more along the lines of Record Collector's 'Good' grading. This is thanks to the superior quality of this pre-oil crisis pressing, when played the effect is minimal although the odd pop & click can be heard at times. All in all this is an acceptable, if far from mint, copy at a competitive price. Tracklisting Side A 1. Good Times Bad Times 2. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You 3. You Shook Me 4. Dazed & Confused Side B 1. Your Time Is Gonna Come 2. Black Mountain Side 3. Communication Breakdown 4. I Can't Quit You Baby 5. How Many More Times
LED ZEPPELIN Houses Of The Holy (1973 UK first press 8-track LP with no warner logo at the end of the perimeter label print, housed in a matt gatefold picture sleeve with textured lyric inner. The sleeve reveals a little light age wear scuffing & the vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition with just a few minor signs of play K50014)
