A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

THE WHO Meaty Beaty Big & Bouncy (Sealed 1980 US issue of the 1971 14-track LP compilation, housed in a pasted picture sleeve with a deletion drill-hole top left. Despite a small split in the shrink, this collector's copy remains unopened & unplayed MCA-37001)

Tracklisting: 1. I Can't Explain 2. The Kids Are Alright 3. Happy Jack 4. I Can See For Miles 5. Pictures Of Lily 6. My Generation 7. The Seeker 8. Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere 9. Pinball Wizard 10. A Legal Matter 11. Boris The Spider 12. Magic Bus 13. Substitute 14. I'm A Boy
PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon (Ultra rare 1973 UK first pressing 10-track vinyl LP with SOLID BLUE PRISM labels with silver lettering, Gramophone Co. perimeter text, black poly lined inner & two posters. This gatefold picture sleeve differs from later issues in that it displays a distinct green colour tinge unlike the jet black print of later issues SHVL804)
Please see Tracklisting/Additional Information for more details....

Tracklisting: Condition The sleeve is one of three different first issue variants. The front opening of the gatefold cover for this copy is sealed with the two sides glued together. "Printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd." in blue text appears in the inside lower left corner, and does have the hype sticker on the front. Considering it was never laminated, the sleeve remains in nice shape. There is a fair degree of scuffing & a few indentation marks from storage but it remains fully intact & the famed Hipgnosis prism design has lost none of its impact. Both posters are in nice shape with very little signs use, obviously stored in the sleeve from new. The labels show spindle marks around the centre hole to indicate a fair amount of play, as well it might for such a classic record. The solid prism labels are unblemished with no writing or tears. The matrices in the dead wax read: A2/B2 The vinyl itself has been professionally cleaned. The disc has obviously been played a number of times & there are mild paper scuffs & the odd minor scratch but with little lessening in sound quality compared to a mint one. The warmth of the vinyl shines through, despite a little evident surface background. Let's not forget, this is a TAS listed audiophile recommendation. A 'good' copy of this first issue will still blow any reissue firmly out the water. Overall an acceptable copy of their masterpiece & now a very sought after pressing. These first issues do not come up for sale often, certainly not as often as we'd like! Tracklisting Side A 1. Speak to me 2. Breathe 3. On the run 4. Time 5. Great gig in the sky Side B 1. Money 2. Us and them 3. Any colour you like 4. Brain damage 5. Eclipse
THE BEATLES Magical Mystery Tour (1967 UK first press 6-track mono double 7" EP with four prong centres & 'Sold In The UK' label text, front laminated gatefold booklet picture sleeve with blue lyric sheets & internal flipbacks. The packaging appears Excellent for the most part with the odd light spot of scuffing. The vinyl grades a clean VG/VG- with some spindle marks evident & a number of light hairlines which have very little effect on play. Now far more sought after than its stereocounterpart MMT-1)

Tracklisting: 1. Magical Mystery Tour 2. Your Mother Should Know 3. I Am The Walrus 4. The Fool On The Hill 5. Flying 6. Blue Jay Way
MADONNA Dress You Up (1984 Canadian Sire label promotional vinyl 7" with a solid centre and custom title labels, featuring the 3:45 Version, also including Shoo-Bee-Doo. Housed in its original WEA Music of Canada, Ltd. die-cut company sleeve)

Tracklisting: 1. Dress You Up 3:45 2. Shoo-Bee-Doo 5:14
