 | ROD STEWART Gasoline Alley (Rare 1970 UK first issue
9-track vinyl LP on the large Vertigo 'swirl' label, the second
solo studio album from the musical icon, complete with poly
lined 'swirl' inner, textured gatefold picture sleeve. This
albumsaw Rod backed by his familiar Faces of Ron Wood,
Ronnie Lane & Kenney Jones. The sleeve remains in superb
condition, showing minimal shelfwear and the vinyl remains
near 'as new' with few signs of play. A lovely copy!)

first press 13-track MONO vinyl LP with 'Gramophone Co' &
'Sold In The UK' label credits, complete with intact sheet of
cut-outs & 'flame' inner, fully laminated internal flipback
gatefold picture sleeve. The previous owner has discreetly
written their name on the Side 1 label in black, so is actually
camouflaged pretty well PMC7027) See 'more info' for
further details on the condition of this rarity...
Tracklisting: The black & yellow Parlophone labels have vivid colours & clear text with just a few minor spindle marks around the centre hole. As mentioned above, the previous owner has discreetly written their initials on the Side 1 label in black, so is actually camouflaged pretty well. The vinyl has just a few light cosmetic surface mark and light signs of play. An Excellent example of this rare mono first issue.
The matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 o scuffing & a couple of small laminate creases from handling.
Complete with the original 'flame' inner which dispays a split to the bottomedgeand a small tear to the opening.
The Garrod & Lofthouse internal flipback, fully laminated picture sleeve benefits from sharp, rich, vibrant colours, secure flipbacks & clean, crisp laminate.
There is light shelfwear evident with creasing to the spine withall textremaiing legible. Does also includes an unusued sheet of cut-outs.
All in all, a nice example.

Headmen and Medicated Goo. The fully laminated pinched spine
picture sleeve has just a little shelfwear, with the start of a seam split
on the spine but thevinyl itself looks barely played ILPS9166)
