| SYD BARRETT The Madcap Laughs (Rare 1970 UK first issue
13-track vinyl LP on the Harvest label with 'The Gramophone
Co., Ltd' text and without the EMI logo. Syd's debut solo album
finally appeared two years after leaving Pink Floyd, with DaveGilmour and Roger Waters producing. This is a brilliant but
brittle album, with every strum of the electric guitar seeming
to take its toll on Barrett's increasingly frayed nerve strings;
front laminated gatefold picture sleeve with a dull blue-green
Harvest logo in lower left corner on the front. The sleeve [VG]
shows light wear around the edges, a little laminate creasing
and some wear to the spine, otherwise bright print and no
edge scuffing/splits etc. The vinyl is also graded VG with
some light hairlines on both sides, but nothing to greatly
trouble playback. A great copy of this psych masterpiece
