See 'More Info' for full details on condition...

Tracklisting: More Information The sleeve with this example is printed with the Island logo and Basing Street address along the bottom edge on the rear. This was only present on the first issue sleeves. The second issue had a slightly different shade of green on the front, manufactured from a thicker card and the back just has a small 'i' logo where the address is printed on the first issue. The tracklisting lists track 4 as Day Is Done and track 5 as Way To Blue. Condition The matt sleeve leaves nowhere to hide - there is light wear mainly at the edges/corners with ringwear fading evident to the green border, although nothing drastic. The reverse has little sign of wear and interior has just a small area of discolouration to the top on both sides. The back shows a handwritten message from the previous owner. All printed text is legible. The labels as previously stated are the textured black block 'i' logo design, and they remain very clean with no paper loss or writing. There are just a few faint spindle marks. The previous owner decided to carefully scratch his name to the runout groove. This is the Orlake pressing - with the characteristic raised rim around the edge of the label. The matrix numbers are machine stamped into the 'dead wax' areas: ILPS + 9105 + A[C - reversed] ILPS + 9105 + B[C - reversed] The vinyl retains a deep sheen and visually is easily VG throughout with light signs of play; a few scuffs throughout, one to River Man and one to Cello Song. We have professionally cleaned and playtested and can confirm that there is only occasional light ambient noise during playback giving at least Very Good reproduction. Not Mint, but an ideal copy of this extremely hard to find first issue - the first Orlake variant we've ever seen! Tracklisting Side A 1. Time Has Told Me 2. River Man 3. Three Hours 4. Day Is Done 5. Way To Blue Side B 1. Cello Song 2. The Thoughts Of Mary Jane 3. Man In A Shed 4. Fruit Tree 5. Saturday Sun
