ELVIS PRESLEY Loving You (1957 UK second issue 8-track 10" vinyl LP, fully laminated scalloped flipback picture sleeve with 'JU57/11' on the bottom flipback. Both sleeve & vinyl remain well above average for this release and will delight the newowner RC-24001)
See 'More Info' for further details ...

Tracklisting: 01. Mean Woman Blues 02. Teddy Bear 03. Loving You 04. Got A Lot O' Livin' To Do 05. Lonesome Cowboy 06. Hot Dog 07. Party 08. True Love Released in Mono only, this was later re-issued in 1964 on RCA Victor, but this example is the second issue from November 1957. Condition: The sleeve remains in superb condition with just a little laminate creasing in places and very much still looks the part and has obviously been well cared for. There is a little curl and laminate split at the opening, caused by fifty five years of shrinkage, but otherwise little to remark on with general shelfwear at a minimum. The scalloped flipbacks are complete, in fact the sleeve unusually shows no paper loss or writing, with just a tiny laminate split at the centre of the top seam to show for all its years in the wild. The bottom flipback has evidence of a prior historic tear but this again has been carefully repaired to good effect. The vinyl, although obviously played, shows none of the usual deep gouges and scratches that are so often found, with just a couple of light surface scuffs here and there. It is very unusual indeed to see a copy of this record with just the grooves it was pressed with ! All in all a well above average copy of this rare release & one that is certainly unlikely to disappoint a serious collector.
