LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin II (Rare 1969 UK second issue 9-track vinyl LP on the plum & red Atlantic label which lists The Lemon Song on both sleeve & labels where later issues list it as Killing Floor, light brown gatefold picture sleeve)
See'More Info' for further details...

Tracklisting: More Information This was the second studio album, released on the 22nd October 1969. The first issue label features ‘The Lemon Song' title, but following a claim of plagiarism levelled at Led Zeppelin [shock, horror!], this song had to be renamed to ‘Killing Floor’ and also credited to Chester Burnett. The Polydor press sleeves are a lighter brown in colour. The sleeve also credits ‘The Lemon Song’ and this was not changed for later issues. * The labels still list 'Copyright Control' publishing credits and have 'Produced by Jimmy Page' under the titles. * This second issue has corrected the 'Livin' Lovin' Wreck' error of the first issue and now reads 'Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's A Woman)', which is still wrong and was further corrected with the third Polydor imprint. * 'Thank You' is still one word, which was also corrected with the third imprint. The Side Two composer credits for Heartbreaker & Moby Dick still list 'Jones' rather than 'Baldwin'. * This second issue now has stamped, rather than scratched matrices. Condition The sleeves for the early issues are known for being easily damaged & worn, but this copy shows just a little age foxing / discolouration and minimal shelfwear with no rips or splits. The vinyl, while played, has been well looked after with only light signs of play with very little discernible spindle wear. An very nice copy of this fifty year old classic. Tracklisting A1. Whole Lotta Love A2. What Is And What Should Never Be A3. The Lemon Song A4. Thank You B1. Heartbreaker B2. Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's Just A Woman) B3. Ramble On B4. Moby Dick B5. Bring It On Home
THE WHO Quadrophenia (Classic 1973 UK 17-track double LP, housed in a gatefold picture sleeve with a deluxe forty-four page full size booklet containing pictures & lyrics to the album. The cover is VG with a few scuffs/marks to edges whilst the heavyweight booklet has come detached, which is not uncommon with some annotation writing throughout. However, the vinyl is Excellent with little sign of play, a nice example of this classic concept album 2657 013)
