A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

THE CLASH Give 'Em Enough Rope (Very rare 1st issue of the 10-track vinyl LP with gold 'Demo Stamped' picture sleeve and super rare promotional poster. Obtained from a former music journalist, this promotional pack includes a 1st issue with 'Stereo' arrow indicator and A1/B1 matrices with gold "Property Of CBS Demonstration Copy - Not For Sale' text stamped on the reverse. Also included is the huge 36" x 24" double-sided poster entitled "The Clash Atlas Of Give 'Em Enough Rope" detailing the world's late '70s political hot-spots [Rhodesia, Northen Ireland, Mozambique, Lebanon etc] alongside a super-cool band portrait on the other side. The sleeve shows a little wear and some faint hand-writing markings can be seen if held under strong light [in fact, it's a message to the journalist who owned the album!], the vinyl looks barely played. The poster has been folded but has never been displayed and is free of any marks, tears etc. A top Clash/punk collectable and the first we have ever had!)
DEREK AND THE DOMINOS Layla (1970 UK first issue 14-track double LP, also featuring Duane Allman, superb gatefold picture sleeve with song hype sticker on the front. The sleeve shows some shelfwear/edge scuffing & thevinyl remains in lovely condition with few signs of play)

Thorn Tree In The Garden 2:51
QUEEN Bicycle Race (Rare 1978 Australian solid centre 7" vinyl single on the 'Caterpillar' Elektra label, also including Fat Bottomed Girls, housed in a great double sided picture sleeve. This example has a 'Demonstration Record' sticker attachedto the sleeve & label, and has also been stamped 'Audition And Programme Carefully'. The fragile paper sleeve displays some minor wear mostly along the opening edge and a small split to the top right corner, and the vinyl shows a few signs ofplay with some minor spindle marks on both labels. Still a nice example and the first we have ever seen E45541)

Tracklisting: 1. Bicycle Race 2. Fat Bottomed Girls
CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL Proud Mary/Bayou Country (1969 French 7-track vinyl LP, released on the blue and silver America label and housed in a unique fully laminated picture sleeve that differs the US release [where it was simply releasedas Bayou Country]. Third album from the American rock band, which features the Southern rock stomp of Born on the Bayou, and the Rock 'n' Roll classic, Proud Mary. The sleeve shows some minimal edgewear, and the vinyl only one or two inaudible cosmetic surface scuffs to show that it has been played, but overall it is a superb condition copy of classic album 30AM6048)

Tracklisting: A1 Born On The Bayou 5:10 A2 Bootleg 2:58 A3 Graveyard Train 8:32 B1 Good Golly Miss Molly Written-By – Marascalco*, Blackwell* 2:39 B2 Penthouse Pauper 3:37 B3 Proud Mary 3:07 B4 Keep On Chooglin' 7:40
