2011 US-only Limited Edition Seventy Three HD-CD
Mega Box Set, originally available from the group's official
website & long out of print, comprising Twenty Two
complete shows, personally selected by Dead vault meister &
archival release producer David Lemieux. The Dead’s first
tour outside of North America took them to all sorts of historic
and unusual venues in England, Denmark, West Germany,
France, Holland and even tiny Luxembourg. Mixed from the
original 16-Track analog master tapes, each show in their own
6-panel fold-out card sleeve. Also includes an exclusive
100-page hardcover book loaded with photographs and
details about the recordings, plus softback 'The Book Of The
Dead' repro booklet. All housed in a stunning suitcase style
box with metal clasp and fabric compartment inside to hold
the booklets, and different country stickers attached to the
outside, individually numbered sticker on the front with
'Grateful Dead Europe '72' printed. The box displays just a
little light general wear, with the 'Europe 72' on the front
showing some light creases from peeling, the sleeves of the
first three shows each have a small tear otherwise remains in
a really nice condition. Now very tough to track down and only
the second we have ever seen!)
