A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

DAVID BOWIE Heroes/ Helden (1977 first German black label issue 45rpm 12" single, featuring the English/German & English/French versions, unique 'Disco Remix' picture sleeve with vintage price sticker in place. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl is Near Mint PC9821)

Tracklisting: 1. Heroes / Helden - English / German Version 6:09 2. Heroes / Heros - English / French Version 6:09
THE BEATLES Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Legendary 1967 UK mono LP, pressed on the black and yellow Parlophone label, which OMITS the final track 'A Day In The Life' from the tracklisting on Side Two! The stamper numbers are XEX638-1 & XEX637-1. Housed in the original G&L fully laminated internal flipback picture sleeve PMC7027)
See 'More Info' for additional details on this elusive misprinted rarity...

Tracklisting: This superb LP is in great condition, especially for an album that is fifty-four years old! The all important labels are clean and bright with clear silver print and striking yellow Parlophone text and pound sign logo, plus 'The Gramophone Co Ltd..' and 'Sold in the UK...' text across the centre of the label. The spindle hole area of the label is clean and undamaged although under close scrutiny there are perhaps half a dozen light marks indicating that this album has been played a handful of times. The vinyl shows only minor evidence of play & would be graded EX. As this rare mispress is technically a second 1967 pressing, the vinyl is housed in a flame inner and does come complete with a set of mint, unused cut-outs. The picture sleeve is excellent. The sleeve itself is manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd and is fully laminated with internal flipbacks. The laminate has some lift and it shows some edge and corner wear with the colours deep and rich, flipbacks secure. This is an lovely copy of this extremely rare variant & it's incredible that an album of such rarity could also be preserved in such good condition for over 54 years. This album would make an excellent investment item or be the centrepiece of even the biggest collection!
GENTLE GIANT Live - Playing The Fool (1977 UK 9-track double vinyl LP on the green Chrysalis label, the official live album released after the band's 8th album 'Interview' featuring some superb highlights from the first eight albums showcasedin the band's highly accomplished and unique way of brilliantly modifying their tracks for live performance - as much due to their continuing innovation to the sheer complexity of the original studio version. Including the excellent 'Excerpts From Octopus' and a blistering amalgamation of 'Peel The Paint' & 'I Lost My Head' demonstrating just one of the many clever marriages of tracks for their astonishing multi-instrumental live sets. The gatefold picture sleeve which has a great inner spread design using a constellation to map the band's tour comes complete with the hard to find booklet. The sleeve has only minor wear and all discs remain in near as new condition. Overall a stunning copy and a stunning performance CTY1133)

Tracklisting: A1. Just The Same 11:13 A2. Proclamation On Reflection 6:24 B1. (Octopus) Boys In The Band 15:35 B2. Funny Ways 8:35 C1. In A Glass House 9:31 C2. So Sincere 10:22 D1. Free Hand 7:40 D2. Sweet Georgia Brown 1:15 D3. Peel The Paint / I Lost My Head 7:35
THE DOORS Roadhouse Blues (1970 Italian 7" single on the wide centred black & silver Vedette label, backed with 'Land Ho'. Comes housed in a unique & fantastic psychedelic picture sleeve which is double-sided. The delicate sleeve [VG+] shows a few minor creases in the corners & the vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition with minimal play)

Tracklisting: 1. Roadhouse Blues 2. Land Ho
