BUZZCOCKS Spiral Scratch (First Press Limited Edition 1977
UK injection label 4-track 7" EP - What we have here is a little
slice of history... this EP is the moment that punk moved
beyond the confines of the capital city & alerted kids up &
downthe country [& beyond] that they could also do it
themselves. Four slices of brilliantly DIY punk and their only
release to feature Howard Devoto. The thin paper picture
sleeve is one of the first pressings without the 'Howard
Devoto' printing credit on the front, with flipbacks & 'Delga'
printed on the back left flipback along with the '182 Oxford
Road,Manchester' address. The delicate sleeve,despite a
small crease to the bottom left corner, displays minimal
shelfwear and retains it's off white colour whilst the vinyl
looks barely played. A seminal record & an amazing slice of
music history all in one handy package ORG-1)

BUZZCOCKS Spiral Scratch (First Press Limited Edition 1977 UK
injection label 4-track 7" EP representing the moment that Punk
moved beyond the confines of the capital city & alerted kids up &
down the country [& beyond] that they could also do it
themselves. The EP's most famous track 'Boredom' encapsulates
the whole mood of punk in under three minutes, replete with
incredible anti-guitar solo! Also included are Breakdown, Time's
Up & Friends Of Mine. The thin paper picture sleeveis one of the
first pressings without the 'Howard Devoto' printing credit on
the front, with 'Delga' printed on the left flipback. The delicate
sleeve has spots of light age discolouration and just one tiny nick
on the opening edge. This example has an embossed label on the
reverse with a past owners name and date or purchase.
However, the vinyl remains in a 'near as new' condition with very
little signs of play. Although not mint, this is still a nice example,
and an amazing slice of music history ORG-1)
