ASSAGAI Assagai (Original 1971 UK 8-track LP on the large Vertigo 'swirl' label, a fantastic copy of the South African band's debut album, matt gatefold picture sleeve with swirl inner. The sleeve displays a large '50p' annotation to the reverse of the gatefold and a small surface scuff next to it removing some of the colour but with nothing to interfere with the text. The labels are clean and reveal just a littlefaint spindle wear when held to the light. The vinyl has light surface scuffs and hairlines and is graded as EX-/VG+; after professional cleaning, playtesting revealed just a little light crackle in places, but nothing excessive, allowing the warm, deep beats to really shine through & shake the office!
