BERT JANSCH Bert Jansch (1965 UK 15-track Transatlantic LP recorded by Bill Leader on a reel to reel in his kitchen & sold to Transatlantic for the princely sum of £100. Transatlantic pressed the album directly from that reel to reel & it went onto sell 150,000 copies - Not bad for a 'Folkie'! With such gems as 'Do You Hear Me Now?' [later a hit for Donovan], the chilling 'Needle Of Death' & the omnipresent cover of Davey Graham's 'Angie', which was seen as pretty much a rite of passage for people entering the London sixties Folk scene. The front laminated picture sleeve has nice bright colours with some age/discolouration to the reverse, there is some laminate rippling along the edge of the spine but remains fully intact with no unsightly rips/tears etc, the vinyl is excellent with some light surface scuffs visible - overall a great copy of this groundbreaking album TRA125)

Tracklisting: Strolling Down The Highway Smokey River Oh How Your Love Is Strong I Have No Time Finches Rambling's Gonna Be The Death Of Me Veronica Needle Of Death Do You Hear Me Know ? Alice's Wonderland Running From Home Courting Blues Casbah Dreams Of Love Angie
