 | THE BEATLES Rarities (1980 Australian 15-track vinyl LP,
issued as part of a series of regional collections featuring
tracks not commonly available on the standard UK LPs. This
edition is particularly notable for including Penny Lane with
theoriginal trumpet coda, She’s A Woman and I’m Down in
mono, plus the unique version of Love Me Do with Ringo on
drums.
Housed in a front-laminated gatefold picture sleeve featuring
the controversial and highly sought-after Butcher Sleeve
artwork printed on the inside. Also includes a black & white
photo inner and the original 'Virgin Import' sticker affixed to
the front cover. The sleeve shows some visible shelfwear with
edge scuffing and a few creases, but remains fully intact. The
vinyl shows a few light surface scuffs and hairlines but plays
through without fault – graded Excellent with only minor
