and was a huge commercial success, winning the 1985 Brit
Award for Best British Album, going on to sell more than 10
million copies worldwide. Gatefold picture sleeve with original
cover artwork faithfully reproduced, with individually
numbered sticker (#0623) to b #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Timeack. The sleeve shows a tiny
dink to back cover opening edge and the vinyl shows only a
few light signs of play)
Tracklisting: Sony Music announces the long-awaited individual catalogue releases from Sade. Previously these six albums had only been reissued as part of the This Far box set collection, but will now become available individually.
Diamond Life (1984) is Sade's debut album, featuring the singles "Your Love Is King," "When Am I Going To Make A Living," "Smooth Operator," and "Hang On To Your Love."
The album was recorded at Power Plant Studios (England). The vinyl audio uses high-resolution digital transfers of the stereo master mixes, from the original studio recordings, remastered at half-speed at Abbey Road Studios. The elaborate, half-speed mastering process has produced exceptionally clean and detailed audio while remaining faithful to the band's intended sound. No additional digital limiting was used in the mastering process, so
the album benefits from the advantage of extra clarity and pure fidelity, preserving the dynamic range of the original mixes, presented on pure 180-gram heavyweight black vinyl.
The original album sleeve and packaging elements have been meticulously reproduced in exact detail with authentic paper and printing methods.
