| CARAVAN Caravan (Super rare 1969 UK debut 8-track
STEREO LP with machine stamped A1/B1 matrices, housed in a front
laminated flipback 'pillar' sleeve with 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printing

Condition :-
The sleeve is a thing of beauty in itself with the colours maintaining its rich & vivid orignallity from the end of the 60's. There is minimal wear to the opening edge and light creasing to one corner with a small annotation neatly written on the reverse.
The labels display a small annotation to one of its sides & the vinyl is super clean & in NEAR MINT condition. What's more, it's a sorely neglected early British Prog/Psych milestone that really should hold a higher place amongst the likes of Pink Floyd's Piper etc.
An investment grade item; but don't hold your breath on us finding another one of these beauts any time soon! |
| THE CLASH Train In Vain (1980 Dutch wide centred 3-track
33rpm 7" single [not released as a single in the UK at the
time], also including Bankrobber and Rocker's Galore,
textured picture sleeve with 33t. sticker. The sleeve shows
just light wear & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with
few signs of play CBS8370) |
| MAY BLITZ May Blitz (Rare original 1970 UK 7-track vinyl LP
on the large 'swirl' Vertigo label with machine stamped
'1Y/1/2Y/1' matrices in the run-outs, this was the debut
release from the Canadian-British heavy progressive rockers,
includingthe single Fire Queen / Virgin Waters. The matte
gatefold picture sleeve has artwork by Tony Benyon and
shows light wear/discolouration (mainly to the back) with
edge scuffing and very faint age wear in places, graded VG.
Track B1 shows "Squeet" on the sleeve, and appears as
"SQEET" on the B side label. The vinyl (showing only limited
signs of play [EX]) sits inside the poly swirl inner and has
been professionally cleaned with only a few light signs of play
evident. A perfectly acceptable example of this Vertigo
rarity!)
