DUKE PEARSON Angel Eyes (Rare 1968 UK first press 7-track stereo LP, a superb pre-Blue Note trio session recorded in New York on August 1st, 1961 with Thomas Howard [bass] & Lex Humphries [drums] & January 12th, 1962 with Bob Cranshaw [bass] &Walter Perkins [drums], initially for the Jazzline label, but inexplicably shelved until it was picked up by Polydor for this UK-only release in 1968.
