BOB DYLAN Lennie Bruce (1981 UK hand assembled piece of proof artwork featuring what was to become the WITHDRAWN sleeve for the 7" single. This unique piece measures approximately 14" x 21½", laid on stiff card backing & featuring cover sheet, annotated tracing paper overlay & assembled art on white backing card. Unfortunately nobody noticed the spelling should have been 'LennY'. THE SMITHS Panic (Stunning set of 1986 UK unfolded uncut card printer proofs for the front and reverse 7" & 12" vinyl single. This original design had 'The Smiths' titled in white but this was withdrawn and replaced with the now familiar blue lettering. The proofs were destroyed with only a few surviving and it is unlikely there are more than a handful left in existence and comes complete with registration and proofing bars and measures 15" X 8". This original design has a brighter yellow background and the front Pat Phoenix image [A private shot given to him by Pat] is clearer, the reverse of the sleeve credits What She Said which was omitted from the commercial sleeve.
