pressed on Heavyweight Vinyl; unquestionably Portland's
most well-loved punk group, the Wipers formed in the late 70s and in
1980 released this, their debut LP. Full of stabbing, jittery guitar,
snapped vocals & unabashed teen angst, the LP has stood as a
blueprint for wretched youth for over 25 years & was given
mainstream attention when Nirvana covered 2 tracks from the LP &

THE WIPERS The Best Of Wipers & Greg Sage (1990 US
13-track compilation LP, textured picture sleeve. Great
collection from Portland's influential punksters recorded
between 1977-1989. The sleeve shows very little wear and,
apart from a few ligt scuffs/hairlines which do not affect play,
the vinyl is excellent)
